Steps:

1. Use a JIS #1 screwdriver to remove eleven 6.7 mm screws from the bottom cover.

2. Use an opening tool and picks to pry the bottom cover from the laptop.
3. Work your way around the perimeter of the bottom cover, releasing any clips before you remove the bottom case.
4. Remove the bottom case.

5. Remove the two pieces of tape from the battery and the battery connector.
6. Save the tape for reassembly.

7. Use the plastic opening tool to carefully push on each side of the connector and remove it from the socket.

8. Lift up the battery and remove it from the bottom case of the laptop.

9. Lift the speakers off of the mounting pegs.
10. There is a speaker in the bottom left corner and bottom right corner.

11. Undo the cables connecting both speakers from their routing hooks.

12. Pull the speaker cable away from the connector in the same direction as the individual wires are running.
13. Pull evenly on the full width of the cable so that no individual wires are overly strained.
14. To remove the cable from its mounting position, use a spudger to lift the ribbon cables off of the speaker cord.
15. Now that the speaker cable is released, remove the speakers.
