Steps:

  1. Please turn off your notebook completely and disconnect the charging cable before you begin. Close the display and turn the device over so the bottom is facing up.
  2. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to release the 7 screws.
  3. 2 x 6mm P1 screws
  4. 5 x captive screws
  5. Insert the Jimmy into the edge and use prying motions to pry up the cover.
  6. You have to go around the housing once until all sides are released. Now you can lift off the housing.

  7. To remove the replacement battery, 3 screws must be removed.
  8. Two 4 mm P1 screws
  9. One flat P1 screw

  10. Now you can use the spudger to carefully pry up the replacement battery and remove it from its housing.

  11. Once you're finished, mark the repaired device with the appropriate icon :-)
