  7. After the stop has been positioned appropriately, clamp it in place with the needle nose pliers.
  8. To ensure a snug fit, use firm pressure at multiple points to clamp the stop tightly around the zipper teeth.

  10. To make sure the stop is firmly attached to the zipper track, gently tug on it after clamping it. Reclamp the stop if needed.
