Steps:
- Evaluate the damage and examine the zipper for any indications of fracture, misalignment, or looseness.
- Align the zipper stop so the post is on the same side as the zipper slider.
- Gently place the stop beneath the zipper teeth.
- After the stop has been positioned appropriately, clamp it in place with the needle nose pliers.
- To ensure a snug fit, use firm pressure at multiple points to clamp the stop tightly around the zipper teeth.
- To make sure the stop is firmly attached to the zipper track, gently tug on it after clamping it. Reclamp the stop if needed.
