Steps:

  1. Remove the following screws on the back case using a Phillips screwdriver:
  2. Two 9.2 mm
  3. Two 11.3 mm
  4. Insert an opening tool in the seam between the front and back case.
  5. Pry around the perimeter until the back case releases.

  6. Disconnect the USB-C charger with tweezers.
  7. Do not pull on the wires.

  8. Gently pry the battery off of the motherboard, with care not to bend the cell.
  9. The battery is secured with adhesive. If the adhesive is stubborn, apply a small amount of high-concentration alcohol under the battery to loosen the adhesive.
  10. Grip the white battery connector with tweezers and pull it directly out of its motherboard port.

  11. Remove the three 7.1 mm Phillips #0 screws from the motherboard.
  12. Remove the two 7.1 mm Phillips #0 screws that secure the trigger assemblies.
