Steps:

  1. Place the multimeter on its front.
  2. Flip up the kickstand.

  4. Use a PH1 screwdriver to unscrew the single screw holding the battery cover and kickstand.

  6. Remove the battery cover and kickstand.
  7. Remove the batteries, if present.

  9. Use a PH1 screwdriver to unscrew the four screws holding the back cover.

  11. Insert a pick into the top gap between the backshell and front cover.
  12. Partly leverage the front cover away from the backshell.

  14. Insert a pick into the bottom gap between the backshell and front cover.
  15. Fully leverage the front cover out of the backshell.

  17. Locate the two fuses:
  18. A 10A fuse for amperage measurements.
  19. A 200mA fuse for voltage measurements
  20. Remove the blown fuse.
  21. Clean any soot from the contacts using cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol to ensure a good connection before installing a new fuse.
  22. Install a the new fuse.
