Steps:

1. Place the multimeter on its front.
2. Flip up the kickstand.

3. Use a PH1 screwdriver to unscrew the single screw holding the battery cover and kickstand.

4. Remove the battery cover and kickstand.
5. Remove the batteries, if present.

6. Use a PH1 screwdriver to unscrew the four screws holding the back cover.

7. Insert a pick into the top gap between the backshell and front cover.
8. Partly leverage the front cover away from the backshell.

9. Insert a pick into the bottom gap between the backshell and front cover.
10. Fully leverage the front cover out of the backshell.

11. Locate the two fuses:
12. A 10A fuse for amperage measurements.
13. A 200mA fuse for voltage measurements
14. Remove the blown fuse.
15. Clean any soot from the contacts using cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol to ensure a good connection before installing a new fuse.
16. Install a the new fuse.
