Steps:

1. Unplug your refrigerator before you begin your repair.
2. If you are testing or repairing the following items, you may also need to shut off and disconnect the water supply:
3. Condenser fan motor
4. Compressor motor and thermal overload device
5. Water supply valve assembly

6. Use a #2 Phillips driver to remove the screws securing the control board cover.

7. Grasp the cover at the upper edge and tilt the upper edge toward you.
8. Lift the lower edge off of the tabs at the bottom and remove the cover.

9. When disconnecting the control board squeeze the locking tabs as shown.
10. Note the connector is shown disconnected for clarity.

11. To disconnect the connectors squeeze the locking tab as shown in the previous step and pull the connector straight out.

12. Disconnect the control board bottom edge and center connectors.
13. Disconnect the control board right-hand edge connectors.
14. Disconnect the control board upper edge connectors.

15. Press down on the tab to release the main control board.
16. Pull the lower edge outward past the tab.

17. Remove the control board from the chassis.
