Steps:

1. Switch the left latch to the left to unlock the battery.
2. While holding the right latch to the right, slide the battery away from the device.

3. Loosen the seven captive screws on the back panel of the computer using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
4. The screws are designed so they do not come out of the laptop base, so twist the screwdriver until they are completely loosened.
5. Remove the back panel.

6. Pinch the black tab and pull it to the left and up to remove the SSD.
7. Flip the hinge upward and detach the piece that's connected to the SSD by pulling the tab to the left.

8. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the two 3 mm screws.
9. These screws are very small. Be mindful when removing them so that they do not get lost.
10. Remove the metal bracket.
11. Remove the SSD.
12. This device did not include an SSD.
