2015 Infiniti Q50 Seat Adjustment Switch Battery Replacement

Steps:

1. Remove a total of four covers on the seat (two in the front and two in the back).

2. Carefully remove both seat adjustment switches using a trim remover.
3. Don't force the seat switch out. If too much force is applied, the seat switch will get damaged.

4. Use the impact wrench with a 14mm socket to remove the bolts securing the seat. There are two in front and two in the back of the seat.

5. Remove both screws securing the plastic cover in front of the seat using a screwdriver.
6. Slide the cover to the right and remove the cover.
7. You may carefully lift the seat up and lean it against the back of the seats. This will make the process easier.

8. Remove the screw holding the cover of the right side of the seat using a screwdriver.

9. Remove the clip that is holding the cover using a trim remover.
10. Remove the clips from the back of the seat that are also holding the cover together.

11. Slide the cover into the front of the seat and remove both screws using a screwdriver.

12. Use a trim remover to remove all four clips that are holding the battery in place.

13. Push the plug away from the battery and remove the seat adjustment switch battery.
14. Don't press too hard on the plug or force the plug out. The plug will get damaged and will not function properly if not careful.

15. Insert the new battery into the plug and connect them.
16. Test the new battery to see if it functions properly.
