Steps:

  1. Use the metal spudger to remove the left and right shells surrounding the subwoofer.
  2. Use the metal spudger to remove the front speaker grille.

  4. Remove eight 15 mm screws located in the four corners of each front speaker using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  6. Use your hands to tear off the padding on the bottom of the speaker.
  7. Step image
  8. Remove all eight internal 15 mm screws from around the front speakers using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  10. Tear off the padding on the top of the speaker with your hands.
  11. Remove the three 15 mm screws located on the top of the speaker using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  13. Pry the two large shells of the speaker apart with the metal spudger.
  14. Step image
  15. Disconnect the speaker's white power cord from the motherboard.
  16. Disconnect the rest of the cords connected to the motherboard.
  17. Step image
  18. Remove the three 15 mm screws using a Phillips #1 screwdriver from the bottom left and right sides of the motherboard.
  19. Remove the entire motherboard from the speaker.

  21. Disconnect the black wire from the motherboard.

  23. Disconnect the battery wire from the motherboard.

  25. Remove the five 10 mm screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
  26. Separate the battery from the motherboard.
