Steps:

1. Remove eleven 6.0 mm screws from the bottom cover using a JIS #1 screwdriver.

2. Loosen the backing cover by sliding a spudger along the edges.
3. You’ll hear and feel a pop as you loosen the edges. This lets you know the backing is loosening up.
4. Remove the bottom cover from the laptop.

5. Remove the EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) shielding bracket by lifting it from each side gently.

6. Release the two metal latches on both edges by pulling outwards.

7. The RAM will then pop up. Pull the RAM out by puling downwards.
