Steps:

1. Unscrew the three black screws on the back of the fan head and place the screws aside.

2. Remove the fan grille and clean any dust from the blades.

3. Unscrew the side of the fan above the knob and below the grille, then remove them.

4. Remove the old knob and place the new adjustment knob into the base, then secure it in place.

5. Reattach the grille and secure the open parts of the fan.
6. Ensure the new knob is tight.

7. Tighten the old and new screws back into place.
