Steps:

1. Remove the ten 14.0 mm Phillips screws from the bottom platform.
2. On the NC301 model, some of these may be Security 14.0mm T-10 screws instead of Phillips.
3. Remove the three screws on the bottom platform that are nearest to the center of the bowl platform.
4. These three screws secure the bowl platform to the base and on some models can be removed after detaching the base.
5. These three screws may be a different size (10mm vs 14mm) have a smaller diameter, or be Security T-10 screws instead of Phillips.
6. Pry and remove the bottom platform

7. Remove the grey release button that holds the springs.
8. Remove the two springs located inside of the grey release button and replace them.
