Steps:

1. Make sure vacuum is turned off and unplugged before starting.
2. Push down on the black wand release lever to remove the motorized floor nozzle.

3. Rotate the three locks that secure the brushroll cover with a spudger.
4. Remove the brushroll cover.
5. The locks will click when they have reached the "unlock" position.

6. Remove the ten 9.4 mm Torx T8 screws on the bottom side of the motorized floor nozzle.
7. Remove the brushroll cover.
