Steps:

1. Close the lid and set the laptop with down the bottom facing up.
2. Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the following screws:
3. Six 6 mm-long
4. Four 8 mm-long
5. Lift and remove the panel.

6. Inside the cable panel, remove the four Phillips #0 4 mm-long screws.

7. Remove the black battery connector cover.

8. Lift the flap securing the keyboard ribbon cable and disconnect the ribbon cable.

9. Lift the locking flap securing the trackpad ribbon cable and disconnect the ribbon cable.

10. Lift the locking flap securing the ribbon cable then disconnect the cable.

11. Lift the locking flap and disconnect the ribbon cable.

12. Use tweezers to lift the orange press connector to disconnect it.

13. Lift up the silver hinge securing the battery connector and disconnect the battery connector.

14. Lift up the tape covering the display cable.
15. Lift the locking bar securing the display cable.
16. Disconnect the display cable.

17. Remove the black foam piece.
18. Disconnect the two coaxial cables.

19. Flip over the laptop and open the lid to a full 180 degrees.
20. Insert an opening pick into the seam between the palm rest assembly and chassis.
21. Slide the opening pick around the perimeter until the palm rest assembly fully releases.
22. Flip up the locking flap securing the touchpad ribbon cable.
23. Disconnect the ribbon cable.
24. Remove the palm rest assembly.
