Pioneer DVL-919 LaserDisc Player Belt Replacement

Description: LaserDisc player no longer reads LaserDiscs

Steps:

  1. Unscrew the device
  2. L
  3. Eject the tray
  4. Disconnect the power
  5. Open the levers on the left and right inside the tray so that the tray comes out! CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY, so that the gears on the left do not shift.
  6. Note/mark the position of the gears!
  7. Replace the belt (do not move the gears if possible!)
  8. Carefully reinsert the tray
