Ford Crown Victoria Hood Replacement

Steps:

  1. Pop the hood up by pulling the latch located down and left of the steering wheel.
  2. Reach into the gap between the hood and the header panel to unlatch the hood.
  3. Push the hood up
  4. Place a peice of cardboard between the windshield and the hood as too not scratch the windshield
  5. Use a 10mm socket to undo the 4 bolts. 2 on each side.
  6. Have something or someone prop up the hood as you remove the bolts.
  7. Lift off the hood. Preferably with 2 people
