Steps:

1. Use a spudger to pry and remove the rubber screw protectors.

2. Remove all eight 5mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

3. Insert the opening tool in the bottom of the case.
4. Apply pressure around the edges to pry off the case.
5. When reassembling, line up the bottom of the case and gently apply pressure to reattach.

6. Use a spudger to flip up the tab on the ribbon connector.
7. Detach the cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
8. Ribbon cables are easy to damage; use caution when detaching them.

9. Remove four 4mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
10. Lift the cord and remove the battery from the case.

11. Use a spudger to peel back the plastic film that is holding the wire.
12. Use a spudger to peel back the plastic film holding the connector.
13. Use a spudger to lift up the tab on the ribbon connector.
14. Detach the cable.

15. Use a spudger to peel back the plastic film holding the connector.
16. Use a spudger to flip up the tab on the ribbon connector.
17. Detach the cable.

18. Use a spudger to peel back the plastic film holding the connector.
19. Gently use the spudger to lift the black locking bar.
20. Disconnect the cord.

21. Use a spudger to lift the tab on the ribbon connector.
22. Disconnect the cord.

23. Use a spudger to flip up the tab on the ribbon connectors.
24. Disconnect both ribbon cables.

25. Remove all eight 4mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

26. Lift and remove the motherboard from the case.
27. Disconnect the cable.
