2002-2007 Jeep Liberty Windshield Wipers Replacement
ID: 212685
Description: If you found yourself praying that it doesn't...
Steps:
- Make sure your car is turned off.
- Ensure the parking brake is engaged.
- Lift the wiper arm up.
- Don't yank your windshield wiper blade; pull it back and up.
- Insert your nail under the locking mechanism.
- It should be easy enough to pry open with your finger/fingernail. Use keys or anything of that shape if it doesn't come loose easily.
- Slide the wiper blade down and away from you.
- This should dislodge it immediately, if not, push the blade up and then slide it down.
- Take your new windshield wiper, blade side facing towards the ground and slide it up into the wiper arm.
- It doesn't make a clicking noise, so when you have finished this step, gently pull and prod the wiper to make sure it stays in place!
- Once it's properly latched, push the wiper back down.
- Repeat with your other windshield wiper, because if one stops working, the other is bound to be next.
