Steps:

  1. Make sure your car is turned off.
  2. Ensure the parking brake is engaged.

  4. Lift the wiper arm up.
  5. Don't yank your windshield wiper blade; pull it back and up.

  7. Insert your nail under the locking mechanism.
  8. It should be easy enough to pry open with your finger/fingernail. Use keys or anything of that shape if it doesn't come loose easily.

  10. Slide the wiper blade down and away from you.
  11. This should dislodge it immediately, if not, push the blade up and then slide it down.

  13. Take your new windshield wiper, blade side facing towards the ground and slide it up into the wiper arm.
  14. It doesn't make a clicking noise, so when you have finished this step, gently pull and prod the wiper to make sure it stays in place!

  16. Once it's properly latched, push the wiper back down.
  17. Step image
  18. Repeat with your other windshield wiper, because if one stops working, the other is bound to be next.
