Steps:

1. Apply a thin layer of the anti-fray glue to both edges of the rip. Let it dry completely.

2. Fold the edges of the fabric over to make a clean edge and hide any fraying.
3. Crease the fold with your fingers.

4. Cut the upholstery thread to a length appropriate for the size of your rip.
5. The thread should match the color of the fabric as closely as possible.
6. Thread the needle and tie a double knot at the end.

7. Hold the two edges of the rip together
8. Begin sewing ¾ of an inch from where the rip begins.
9. You might want to use a pin to hold the edges together while you sew

10. Continue sewing until you are past the rip. Knot and cut the excess thread.
