Steps:

1. Remove the eight Phillips #00 screws. There are six screws on the bottom of the camera and two screws beneath the back light button.

2. Remove the five Phillips #00 cassette side screws.

3. Remove the three Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the lens side cover.

4. Remove the Phillips #00 screw holding the microphone on.

5. Remove the two Phillips #00 screws from lens side cover.

6. Slide the lens side cover away from camera.

7. Remove the Phillips #00 screw from the tape transport slider.

8. Remove the four Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the camera.

9. Remove the electrical connector from camera.

10. The tape transport unit is now free from the camera.
