Steps:

  1. Turn off and unplug the device before starting.
  2. Flip your device over so the bottom panel is facing up.
  3. Step image
  4. Slide the lock switch to the right.
  5. The panel will pop open at the top corner.

  7. Use the plastic opening tool to remove the back panel.
  8. Some force may be required to remove the panel from the case. Use caution when prying to avoid breaking the panel or the plastic tabs securing it in place.

  10. Use the PH 1 screwdriver to remove the four 3.5 mm screws securing the hard drive.
  11. Step image
  12. Lift the corner bracket to remove the hard drive.
  13. Step image
  14. Unplug the hard drive wire to detach the hard drive.

  16. Unscrew four 3.5 mm screws from the inside of the battery compartment with PH 1 screwdriver.
  17. Unscrew nine 5 mm screws with PH 1 screwdriver.
  18. Unscrew four 4 mm screws with PH 1 screwdriver.

  20. Flip right-side up and open the laptop.
  21. Pry open the keyboard using plastic opening tool starting from the top.
  22. Lift up keyboard gently,as a silver ribbon is still attaching it to the laptop

  24. Place keyboard upside down.
  25. Lift up plastic cover over keyboard ribbon cable.
  26. Pull ribbon cable up away from keyboard to completely remove.

  28. Remove seven 4mm pannel screws with PH 1 screwdriver.

  30. Put the computer on its side
  31. Separate top panel from bottom frame.

  33. Pop open palm rest panel.

  35. Pull ribbon to detach from bottom panel.

  37. Lift up speaker.

  39. Lift up white panel covering speaker ribbon cable.

  41. Pull out the speaker ribbon.

  43. Unhook speaker cable from hooks.

  45. Pull out silver wire to reveal black speaker wire.

  47. Unplug the red, white, and black speaker wire connector.
